In the summer issue of The Tiger Letter, it was mentioned that a logo is being developed featuring the rivalry between MU and KU in an effort to generate additional excitement surrounding the Border War competition.

The process has taken longer than anticipated, but final details are being worked out with an anticipated launch this spring. Stay tuned for further details.

On Dec. 1, CLC and J. Patton Sports Marketing officially launched Stitches on Demand, a Web-based program designed to allow licensees to purchase embroidery-formatted logos.

Stitches on Demand is the sister program of Logos on Demand, CLC’s full-service digital logo distribution and management program.

Licensees will be required to be current subscribers of Logos on Demand to access Stitches on Demand. CLC licensees using Stitches on Demand are provided with all the necessary resources to improve overall production efficiency and to create more accurate embroidery using pre-approved thread colors and designs.

The Stitches on Demand program offers embroidery-formatted files digitized, and approved by licensors, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With a few simple clicks, licensees will have access to a wide array of logos.

Stitches on Demand does not eliminate the artwork approval process, but it does save licensees time and money by improving the process of digitizing artwork and reducing the risk of inaccurate or inferior embroidery artwork being sent to universities for approval.

For more information, please contact Jody Anthis at jody@jpattonsports.com.

Officially Licensed Collegiate Products

CLC has announced that more than 25 universities have made the decision to require all of their standard licensees to use CLC to submit artwork for approval as of January 1, 2002.

Local and restricted licensees will still be permitted to submit paper approvals.

More than 80 percent of all designs are now coming through the CLC system, and CLC is on pace to receive more than 150,000 designs this year, compared to 100,000 three years ago.

Although Mizzou has not yet made the decision to require its licensees to submit all designs through CLC, we are moving in that direction and strongly encourage your use of this system.
