CLC Announces Release of EA Sports' 2005 NCAA Football Video Game

MU Football Field
Truman

The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) and EA Sports are very excited to announce the release of the EA Sports 2005 NCAA Football video game, available in the retail marketplace nationally July 13.

EA Sports is the leader in creating a unique gaming experience that collegiate fans and video game enthusiasts embrace each year. Sales numbers for the 2005 NCAA Football video game are anticipated to break last year's record of 1.7 million units sold.

EA Sports implemented new features in this year's game that have made the 2005 NCAA Football game one of the most anticipated releases of the year. These new features include:

Home field advantage with deafening roars from the fans;

A deeper dynasty mode which provides the consumer with more control of their selected institution, allowing the consumer to create a dynasty from the ground up by customizing everything from the stadium, school colors and team schedules to the team's style of play during actual games (blitzing, zone-coverage, balanced run or pass, option run, run and gun, west coast, or pass heavy);

Intricate on-line game-play allowing the user to play opponents across the nation at any time of the day or night; (This is the first EA Sports game to include on-line game play for the Xbox console. On-line game play has been available for PlayStation 2 owners.)

An improved recruiting network that allows the consumer to continue to coach into the off-season by recruiting players from across the country or accepting transfer players from other universities to come to their school and compete in their dynasty mode.
